Visit the site and judge for yourself. This is\u00a0 a national organization, requiring membership for the magazine.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<a class=\"RE\" href=\"http:\/\/www.arrl.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ARRL<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you are a resident of New Mexico, you should check out the website for the New Mexico section of the ARRL.\u00a0<a class=\"RE\" href=\"http:\/\/www.arrl-nm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New Mexico Section<\/a><\/p>\n<p>QRZ.com is a very informative site that hosts a swap page, and also practice tests for upgrading,. They also have other forums that you may enjoy. This is a free site, and I visit it frequently.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<a class=\"RE\" href=\"http:\/\/www.qrz.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">QRZ<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Eham is another site that I enjoy visiting because of its various forums and articles. They also have a swap page, and various forums that gives a lot of useful information to the beginner as well as the seasoned hams.\u00a0\u00a0<a class=\"RE\" href=\"http:\/\/www.eham.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EHAM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is one neat site as far as I am concerned. It has on the average over 200 new ads daily, as well as being able to search certain criteria. They also have forums here. You will find a lot of fair sellers here, no ebay stuff.\u00a0\u00a0<a class=\"RE\" href=\"http:\/\/www.qth.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">QTH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is a site that is of interest to many hams interested in APRS. You may find a station running APRS tracking stations or just their home station. My wife and I use it frequently to track friends or for her to keep track of me in the 18 wheeler.\u00a0<a class=\"RE\" href=\"http:\/\/www.findu.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">APRS<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; Roy Craiglow<\/p>\n<p>If you are in the market for APRS equipment two companies you should consider are\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.byonics.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Byonics<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.argentdata.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Argent Data Systems<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A site brought to our attention by one of our members is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.solarham.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SolarHam.net<\/a>\u00a0which provides information on current solar affects that may give our transmissions trouble.<\/p>\n<p>For those of you interested in the <a href=\"http:\/\/nm5ml.com\">Mega-Link<\/a>, this will give you all the info you need.\u00a0This is a great system owned and maintained by none other than Mr. Paul Choc of Abq. It is a great tool. Please use it, but DO NOT abuse it.
