We will be hosting our tailgate for 2023 on May 27th. This year our tailgate will be held at the McDaniel’s Building on Mitchell St (1015 Mitchell St) Clovis, NM.<\/p>\n

There will be several vendors with plenty of opportunity to buy\/sell\/trade gear. Training opportunities are in the works. Raffle tickets sold at the door with great prizes!<\/p>\n

\u201cFox Hunting\u201d or also known as radio direction finding, is an essential skill that any Amateur operator should possess. My project utilizes an Arduino microcontroller to produce a morse code signal which is sent to an audio pre-amp and then on to the mixer stage. The RF oscillator is a grounded based oscillator, which was based off\u00a0Ulrich L. Rohde, N1UL and Ajay K. Poddar, AC2KG\u2019s design which was featured in the 2022 Edition of the ARRL Handbook. This presentation was presented as my 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0Capstone project in my EET 490 Capstone class and will describe the challenges experienced with working with circuits at RF frequencies.<\/p>\n
